More structured reporting for progress, costs, and time tracking

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using GanttPRO mainly for planning, but when it comes to tracking progress and performance, I feel like something is missing on the reporting side. For example, it would be really helpful to have a more structured view of: planned vs actual progress, cost deviations, time spent vs planned.

Right now it’s a bit hard to analyse this across projects in a clear way. Would be great to have more detailed reports or table-based views for this. Curious if there is anything available now?

  • Hi Theo, thanks for bringing this up! You make a great point, especially for teams that want to do more than just plan projects and need to track and measure how things are going.

We’ve recently added Table Reports exactly for reviewing progress, budget, and time across projects.

    The available reports include:

    • Progress S-Curve: cumulative planned and actual progress over time
    • Budget reports: planned budget, actual costs, and differences
    • Time reports: planned and recorded time, broken down by project or resource

Depending on the report type, you can filter the data, group it by project or assignee, include multiple projects or portfolios, and export the results to Excel.

To create a table report, open the Reports section, select a report type, click Create, and choose the Table option.

We also have a whole article dedicated to this feature, please explore: https://blog.ganttpro.com/en/table-reports/

Let me know if you got any questions on this! :)
