In the Board view, I would like the ability to group by a custom field value. I want to be able to quickly brain dump tasks and have some sort of indicator that certain tasks are related to each other, like a tag or a folder.
You can group tasks in Board view by certain custom fields, including List, Color, Multiselect, People, and Labels. For your use case, a List or Labels custom field could work well to mark related tasks and then group them into separate columns on the Board (here is the more in-depth: https://help.ganttpro.com/hc/en-us/articles/23974035410194-Grouping-and-Sorting).
You can also create or edit these values directly from the Board.
