Reporting still feels limited for real project tracking

Hi all,

I like using GanttPRO for planning, but when it comes to actually tracking project performance, I feel like the reporting side is still a bit limited.

For example, I often need to compare planned vs actual time and costs across multiple projects, and it’s not always easy to get a clear overview without exporting data and working on it separately.

It would be great to have more built-in reporting options that make this easier directly in the tool.

Is anyone else running into this?

  • Hi Emma, thanks a lot for sharing this! You’re definitely not alone in this!

We’ve recently introduced Table Reports, which are a step toward solving exactly this kind of challenge. With them, you can:

    • Compare planned vs actual time and costs
    • Track deviations across projects or portfolios
    • Analyse resource-level performance
    • Use filters and group data for better visibility
    • Export everything to Excel if needed

That said, we understand that reporting needs can vary a lot depending on the team and industry, and we’re continuing to improve this area 💚
