More flexible Excel and CSV import
The new release brought more flexibility to importing projects from Excel and CSV into GanttPRO. You can map spreadsheet data to GanttPRO fields, bring in custom fields and resources, and reduce the amount of manual setup after import. GanttPRO supports .xlsx and .csv files. Start from Create new project → Import. Map your project data you can map spreadsheet columns to: standard GanttPRO fields; existing custom fields; new custom fields created during import; or skip columns you don’t need. For custom fields, unmatched values can be mapped manually or with AI. Import resources and multiple values For fields such as Assigned, People, Multiselect, and Labels, you can import multiple values. Imported resources can be matched with existing users or resources, created as virtual resources, or excluded. Bring in more project details Supported data includes WBS, assignees, progress, status, priority, dates, duration, estimation, time logs, budget, actual cost, and more. You can also select which imported tasks should become milestones. If you already manage projects in spreadsheets, this update should make moving them into GanttPRO much faster.

Undo and Redo actions with keyboard shortcuts
The new release also includes the Undo and Redo actions! You can go back through your last 10 actions, one step at a time. The history is individual for each user, so undoing an action won’t affect changes made by your teammates. Keyboard shortcuts Undo: Cmd + Z on Mac or Ctrl + Z on Windows. Redo: Cmd + Shift + Z on Mac or Ctrl + Y / Ctrl + Shift + Z on Windows. You can use Undo and Redo in: Projects: Gantt chart, Board, List, Calendar, and Workload views. Portfolios: Gantt chart, List, and Workload views. My Tasks. Resource Workload. What changes can you undo? Undo and Redo cover many common task-management actions, including: editing standard and custom fields; adding or removing task dependencies; editing task descriptions and deadlines; moving items with drag-and-drop; bulk task changes; creating and deleting tasks and milestones; converting tasks into milestones. When does the Undo history reset? As GanttPRO supports real-time collaboration, the history may reset when other changes affect the same data. This can happen, for example, if: another user overwrites your latest change; auto-scheduling updates it; you leave the Project, Portfolio, My Tasks, or Resource Workload page; you refresh the browser or log out; project settings, user permissions, or resources are changed. This helps prevent conflicts between outdated and current project data.

Dashboard Export and Portfolio Invitations
Together with the List view, this release also introduces two important updates: 1. Dashboard export Your project data can now be exported as a PDF with all key metrics and charts in one place. It is especially useful for tracking project progress, budget monitoring, reviewing time spent, spotting possible risks, and presenting a clear project overview to stakeholders and third parties. 2. Portfolio invitations Sharing has become even easier at the portfolio level. Access can now be provided through a single portfolio invitation instead of manually inviting users to each project. This reduces repetitive communication and makes collaboration with stakeholders, clients, and other third parties much more seamless. Updated List View
In GanttPRO, you can manage projects through multiple views, Gantt chart, Board, Calendar, and List, depending on your workflow, project type, perspective. In our latest product update, we focused on making the List view more flexible, customizable, and easy to use. What has been changed: Redesigned List View The updated List view now offers a faster and more intuitive way of managing tasks thanks to improved interface and organisation. Can be used in Projects, My Tasks, and Portfolio, as well as switching between three formats (List, WBS, and Grouped list), so that teams can view and organise project data in the way that complements their workflow. Flexible List Customization Every List format can be customised with standard and custom fields. Arrange them by dragging and dropping, save the layout that works best, and export only the information that is necessary. Smarter Task Sorting You can sort the tasks in both the List and Grouped list formats in order to quickly arrange and locate project data. The sorting preference you choose is stored for each view, so you won't have to set it up once again. Use case scenarios The List view supports a variety of workflows. Construction teams can organize tasks by contractor, location, or phase; Marketing teams can group work by campaign, deadline, or priority while tracking content and approvals with custom fields; Software teams can use the WBS format together with custom fields to manage epics, stories, sprints, and releases. Try the updated List view now and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! anastasia@ganttpro.com
